INCEPTION MEDIA GROUP ACQUIRES ALL U.S. RIGHTS
TO ACTION THRILLER “2:22”

Val Kilmer co-stars in film that marks company’s first acquisition;
limited theatrical run set for June 18

SANTA MONICA, Calif., April 27, 2010 — Inception Media Group, LLC, a diversified media company specializing in the production, acquisition and distribution of entertainment content, today announced it has acquired all U.S. rights to the award-winning action thriller feature film “2:22.”  The film will begin an exclusive theatrical engagement in Los Angeles beginning June 18 with a DVD and Blu-ray launch slated for Fall 2010.

“2:22” is the first feature film acquisition for Inception Media Group, which was recently formed by industry veterans Andy Reimer and David Borshell.  Inception Media Group has acquired all U.S. rights from Moonstone Entertainment, including DVD and Blu-ray, broadcast, pay-per-view and digital distribution.

“We’re very pleased that ‘2:22’ is our first acquisition,” said Andy Reimer, partner, Inception Media Group.  “The film is an entertaining, smartly written and tightly directed heist movie boasting terrific performances, including an unforgettable part played by Val Kilmer.  ‘2:22’ is the first of many marketable films we will release in the coming months.”

The film was directed by Phillip Guzman, produced by Lenny Bitondo and co-written by Guzman and Mick Rossi.  The film stars Rossi and features Val Kilmer, Robert Miano, Aaron Gallagher, Jorge A. Jimenez and Peter Dobson.  “2:22” made its European debut at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival and since has gone on to win numerous awards including Best Picture at the 2009 Malibu Film Festival.

“2:22” is a riveting heist story about a robbery gone bad.  In the film, four thieves attempt to execute a seemingly foolproof plan on a wintery New Year’s Eve at a boutique hotel containing a vault of safety deposit boxes filled with cash and jewels. Unfortunately, the guests derail the robbery and its aftermath with demands of their own. Powerhouse performances and shocking twists make this a stylish crime story audiences will never forget.
